What are Family Support Services?

Upon a member’s death, the Funeral Consumer Guardian Society (FCGS) immediately takes action to help surviving loved ones with funeral arrangements and other issues that may arise. This aid makes everything as easy as possible for your loved ones during a time of trying emotions.

Can I pre-plan my funeral and final wishes?

Our two-page final wishes form makes it fast and easy to decide the style of funeral you want and any other final wishes you may have.

What is the application process?

Planning for end-of-life expenses is hard enough without adding a lengthy application process with hoops to jump through. We offer an easy, one-page application with no health examinations. You just have to answer a few simple questions.

Will my rates and benefits ever change?

We believe in honesty and transparency with our customers. Your rate and benefits are locked in for the life of the policy as long as premiums are paid.

Can I still get coverage, even if I have current health issues?

Health issues should never be the sole determiner of whether or not someone is denied coverage benefits. Most applicants of our plan get coverage, even with health issues.

When does my plan go into effect?

Upon death, FCGS immediately begins comparing up to three different funeral homes to find the best price available.

Families save an average of $1,800 on traditional funerals and up to $600 on cremation services when they use Rosson Phillips final life expenses plans.

Will I be pressured to buy from certain vendors or required to have my funeral services at a certain location?

FCGS is not affiliated with any religion, funeral home, cemetery, or any particular funeral approach. There is never any obligation or pressure to buy anything as a member.

What do I need to file a life insurance claim?

In most cases, claims are paid within 24 hours of receiving required information. They pledge to treat you with utmost care, respect, and consideration, with the goal of making a difficult time in your life just a little easier. For most death claims, a certified copy of the insured’s death certificate and the original policy are needed. For most accidental death claims, any accident, autopsy, or toxicology reports are also needed. Our service center will walk you through the claims process and answer any questions you may have.
